"There are several other very striking aspects to this excellent disc. Firstly, the qulaity and blend of the sound of the girls, uniform in both the strongest and most delicate moments, and in particular in the highest registers of the Pergolesi. Secondly, the musical sense of the shape and style in the phrasing in music which ranges form the carefully articulated and idiomatic nuances of the Pergolesi, to the flexibilities required to cope with the longer and broader phrases of the Parry and Ireland. Thirdly, the consistency of the solo voices, each one being particularly well-suited tot he solo part it is assigned to."
