Reviews

‘Quinn’s style is rich and densely textured and the featured works are of consistently high quality, very well performed on this atmospheric recording.’ ★★★★ Choir and Organ December 2019

‘The music of Iain Quinn (b.1973) is imbued with a rich melange of influences, giving it a highly engaging variety and something of sense of familiarity that is sure to draw the listener in…The choir exhibits meticulous balance and a real beauty of tone.’  ★★★★★ Organists’ Review November 2019

‘These are short (most under 5 minutes), contemplative, well-written liturgical pieces with Latin and English texts. I found the Mass for choir and organ and the evening canticles particularly effective…The superb choir gives as good an account of these pieces as possible.’  American Record Guide March 2020

‘Quinn has a mastery of flowing counterpoint, the words always lucid. Continuum, an organ solo with tremulant, seems, to spellbinding effect, almost immobile: mysterious, persuasive, its intimate oscillations to some degree left to the interpreter ’ Church Times May 2020
